APPLICATION

At this stage you will be submitting your application to be considered for employment with The Partnership Healthcare Group as Health and Care Worker. This is your opportunity to demonstrate your skills and experience.


SHORTLISTING AND INTERVIEWS

When your application is received our recruitment team will review and if successful you will be shortlisted and invited for an interview online via Zoom or Teams.


VERIFICATION

If you successful at the interview stage The Partnership Healthcare Group will require the following for verification :

  • IELTS English Test
  • Police Clearance from Country of Residence
  • Relevant Training and Qualifications
  • Full Previous Employment History
  • Work and Character References
  • TB Test

SPONSORSHIP

When we have completed the verification process and we are satisfied that you meet all the requirements, The Partnership Healthcare Group will provide you with a certificate of sponsorship which you will require to apply for a visa with the UK Home Office. Please note the decision to issue you with the visa lies sorely with the UK Home Office. You will need to ensure you meet all their requirements before applying. You maybe required to pay an administration fee to The Partnership Healthcare Group before the Certificate of Sponsorship is issued.


HEALTH AND CARE WORKER VISA

You can apply for a Health and Care Worker visa up to three months before you’re due to start work with The Partnership Healthcare Group . Your start date will be included in your employment contract and on your certificate of sponsorship. The Health and Care Worker visa allows you to stay and work in the UK for up to 5 years and this can be extended provided you meet all the eligibility criteria set out by the UK Home Office. You will need to inform the UK Home Office if you want to transfer to a different employer or change jobs. Permission to do this can only be issued by the UK Home Office. If you have not completed your minimum employment duration with The Partnership Healthcare Group you may not be entitled to receive the administration fees paid and your new employer will need pay The Partnership Healthcare Group a transfer fee which will be determined at the time of application. Applicants and dependants who are eligible to apply under this visa are exempt from having to pay the Immigration Health Surcharge.

PREPARATION OF LIFE AND WORK IN THE UK

If your Health and Care Worker Visa application with the UK Home Office is successful, Rainbow Direct Care will support you in preparation for working and living in the UK. This will include learning about UK culture and law. You will also go through our induction and any training that they are required to complete. We will also begin the process of assisting you with travel arrangements and preparations for arrival to the UK.

LIFE IN THE UK

When you arrive in the UK, you will be met by members of our reception team and taken to our welcome centre. Here they will expect to be housed for 1 MONTH if you do not have accommodation. We will help you find suitable accommodation that is near to where you will be working and transport links. We will also proceed with the final preparations for you to commence employment. You will have a chance to explore local life, culture and communities to familiarise yourself to the places you will be living and working. We will also assist you with exchanging your licence for a Full UK driving licence. If you do not have a driving licence and wish to learn you can be referred to our partner licensed driving instructor schools. We also hold welcome events so that you can meet and share the experiences of other candidates who have been on the same journey. You can also study and take any training to progress your career further.


INDUCTION WEEK

Once a start date has been finalised, you will be taken to your place of work by our team to help you through your first few days. A review with you and your line managers will be conducted at the end of the first week to find out if it went well and if there is anything that would need to be done.
